Mindfulness and presence are aspects of the mind which we all use on a daily basis. Meditation is about increasing our awareness of this reality and refining our ability to stay in a relaxed and present state more and more of the time.

Having been involved in teaching qigong classes and Chinese medical treatments for over 10 years it is clear that many of the stresses we experience on a daily basis, both consciously and subliminally, are improved by learning various techniques that not only increase our capacity to be aware of these things but to release them.

Consequently all the practices at Clearwater Qi Arts are geared towards developing this ability either directly through observing thoughts and emotions or indirectly by learning to become more present to the posture and sensations of our bodies.
